In traditional sandwich production lines, sandwich sauces such as dressings or mayonnaise are applied with single-spot depositors or even by hand. These methods often make it harder to standardize coverage and portioning at production speed. FoodJet sauce depositors can deliver both, streamlining the process with precision and efficiency.

FoodJet enables the patterned deposition of sauces on sandwiches, resulting in a more uniform distribution across the bread surface. For aligned products, deposit patterns can be configured with FoodJet Designer Studio. When size or shape varies, a free-form pattern generator can adapt the pattern to the product. The setup is tuned to your sauce and line presentation.

Better distribution, better taste

OK, it’s not so visible between the bread, but an even distribution of sauce would taste a lot better. You do not want to take a bite with a lot of sauce. Every part of the sandwich should hold an equal amount of sauce.

The FoodJet deposits small drops of sauce, evenly spreading them over the entire surface of the product. If the sandwiches are all the same size, you can design the appropriate pattern yourself using the FoodJet Designer Studio software.

If the size and shape can vary, the FoodJet Control Platform software will do the job for you.
