FoodJet depositing solutions for pizza sauce can be configured to match your product range and line requirements. Depending on sauce properties, target pattern, and line layout, systems can be scaled from smaller setups to high-output production lines. We’ll review your constraints and propose a suitable configuration. Not only are our sauce depositing solutions customisable, they are also suitable to scale to fit large production lines. FoodJet can deposit pizza sauce (material) onto pizza bases (product) in controlled patterns on a moving conveyor. Depending on sauce consistency, product variation, and belt stability, optional vision support can help target each base and reduce misplacement. Dosing settings and patterns can be managed via the FoodJet Control Platform software to support repeatable production.

Automate your production line with the sauce depositor

Automate sauce or puree depositing on pizzas with controlled placement and selectable patterns—depending on your sauce properties and line conditions. FoodJet can use vision support to detect the product on the conveyor and help target where material is deposited when position varies.

Adaptive sauce applicators

Special shapes? Depending on product presentation, the vision system can support pattern alignment without relying solely on mechanical changeovers. Inclusions? Larger nozzle options may be suitable, depending on particle size and recipe. FoodJet systems can be configured to apply sauce as a defined layer or pattern on your product, depending on requirements.

Finding the right depositor for your product

FoodJet depositors can be configured for a range of materials, including sauces and purees. When selecting a depositor, define the material behaviour (smooth vs. chunky, temperature window, inclusions) and the product presentation on the conveyor. Based on these inputs, we can advise a suitable depositing head, pump/buffer concept, and optional vision setup.
